The choice of diesels comprise a 225 3.0-litre engines, and a 339bhp 4.4-litre V8 - although the latter provides more ability to pull loads more easily. The sole petrol choice is a 510bhp 5.0-litre supercharged V8. There's also a 3.0-litre diesel hybrid which is the cheapest to run, but not by much.

Running costs for the 3.0-litre diesel are not too bad for a big SUV, averaging 40mpg.

The 4.4-litre V8 diesel manages 32.5mpg while the most expensive supercharged V8 petrol can only manage 22.1mpg. Up to 44mpg should be possible from the hybrid.
